PRICING
I will provide a full written quote for each commission based on specific requirements. However, as a basic guide, please refer to the following table. All pricing below relates to black and white work in pencil, ink or charcoal. Prices include British-made ‘antique white’ single mount with backing board and postage (mainland UK only – offshore and overseas will be extra).

Pricing relates to the estimated time required to complete the work. A simple sketch takes less time than a fully detailed drawing (see examples below).
DEPOSIT
No commission will proceed without payment of a minimum deposit of 15% of the total price agreed for the work. The minimum deposit is non-refundable.
REFERENCE PHOTOS
No commission will proceed without the provision of adequate reference photos. These should be high resolution, preferably capturing the subject in natural light, but not direct sunlight. 3 or 4 images are usually sufficient, but please specify which image best shows your preferred composition for the portrait.
TIMESCALE & WAITING LIST
Most pieces will take up to two weeks to complete and deliver, dependent on size and style. However, there may be a waiting list and I will provide an approximate delivery timescale at point of order.
